About the project
Since August 2025, the Oni Local Action Group has been implementing a project "Oni LAG at Service of the Local Development" within the framework of the EU-supported project "New Life for Mountainous Georgia".
Total budget of the project is: 17,507 EUR

LAG capacity building
Capacity building of the operational arm of Oni LAG will be carried out
Local Development Forum
An annual local development forum will be implemented and established as a tradition
Youth needs' survey
A survey of the needs and desires of the youth of Oni Municipality regarding infrastructure, resources and skills will be conducted
Access to funding
The Oni Local Action Group will actively work to find various funding mechanisms that will enable young people to transform the knowledge they have gained during their training into businesses
Entrepreneurship capacity building for locals
Business/entrepreneurship trainings will be held for local residents
Understanding tourism potential
An inventory of the tourism potential of Oni Municipality will be carried out
New tourism products
An ideathon of innovative tourism products will be held
Eco-farmers' network
A network of producers of eco-friendly and sustainable agricultural products will be created
